The Go/NoGo task used was identical to the task described in a previous study from our lab ((Pandey, Kamarajan, 2012); see Figure 1 for schematic illustration). Briefly, each subject was presented with four types of visual stimuli consisting of white isosceles triangles pointing in either the up, down, right, or left direction. The stimuli were presented for 100 ms at the center of a computer screen (17” diagonal, 75 Hz Refresh Rate, and 1024×768 resolution) against a dark background that subtended a visual angle of approximately 1°.
