Fibroblasts were generated from Unaffected and Affected skin punch biopsies. Induced Neurons (iNeurons) were generated as previously described (Xue et al., 2013). HEK293T, HEK293H, primary fibroblasts, neural progenitor cells, and iNeurons were cultures using well-established techniques. Basal protein and DNA oxidation and RNA transfection were performed as suggested by the manufacturer. Cell viability assays were performed as previously described (Carmichael et al., 1987).
