White matter (WM) constitutes various networks across brain regions and is important for efficiency and integration of information between cortical regions. WM integrity can be assessed using diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), which provides fractional anisotropy (FA), mean diffusivity (MD), radial diffusivity (RD) or axial diffusivity (AD) in specific regions of interest (ROIs) or the whole brain.
