The processing pipeline utilized for the initial data release was primarily based on tools from FSL (the FMRIB Software Library51), but it will be gradually expanded to utilize a broader range of methods and software, where this will increase the quality, robustness and scope of IDPs generated. For example, one high priority is to adapt the Human Connectome Project pipelines53 to provide cortical surface modeling.
