SPSS (SPSS Inc., Chicago, USA) was utilized for all statistical analyses. The logarithmic transform of the resting, relative and absolute θ power were utilized in all analyses as these had univariate normal distributions2. For the relative θ power measures, the log ratio measures (Equation 2) rather than the percentage change measures (Equation 1) were used, as the log ratios were normally distributed.
