Zero-order correlations for all variables for mothers and fathers are summarized in Table 2. Father's alcohol diagnosis at 12 months was associated with higher depressive symptoms for both mothers and fathers at 12 months. Father's alcohol diagnosis at 12 months was also associated with lower marital satisfaction for both mothers and fathers at 12, 24, and 36 months. Father's alcohol diagnosis was associated with lower maternal warmth/sensitivity at 24 and 36 months and lower paternal warmth/sensitivityat 12 and 24 months. For mothers, higher depressive symptoms were associated with lower marital satisfaction at 12, 24, and 36 months as well as lower warmth/sensitivity at 12 and 36 months. Higher marital satisfaction at 12 months was associated with higher maternal warmth/sensitivity at 36 months; higher marital satisfaction at 24 months was associated with higher maternal warmth/sensitivity at 24 and 36 months. For fathers, higher depressive symptoms at 12 months were associated with lower marital satisfaction at 12, 24, and 36 months and lower warmth/sensitivity at 12 and 36 months. Higher marital satisfaction at 12 months was associated with higher paternal warmth/sensitivity at
