the fixation condition, showed a trend-level negative relationship between BOLD response to vigilance relative to fixation and increasing FH density [F(3,62) = 2.49, p = 0.07, β = −0.25, p = 0.07]. The inferior area, which activated preferentially to the demands of vigilance, did not relate to FH density. Taken together, these results suggest less BOLD response during vigilance and more activity during fixation (or rest-related response) with increasing FH density.
