Scheduled access to ethanol was initiated on PND 28 and was conducted over a 3 week period. Ethanol intakes averaged approximately 2.5–3 g/kg for each of the 3 daily sessions over the 15-day drinking period (Fig. 1). The highest ethanol intakes were observed during the 1st week; daily ethanol intakes were approximately 8 g/kg/day during the 2nd and 3rd week of drinking (Fig. 1).
