All subjects were interviewed using an electronic version of the Semi-Structured Assessment for Drug Dependence and Alcoholism (SSADDA) (8, 9) to derive DSM-IV diagnoses (10) of lifetime OD and other major psychiatric traits. The test-retest (κ=0.94) and interrater (κ=0.91) reliability of the OD diagnosis was excellent (9).
