only stimulated transcription of APP, but also that of cFos (Fig. S6D), which is a target of AP-1 in a positive feedback loop (Karin, 1995). Again, stimulation of APP and cFos transcription by ApoE3 was specific, as it was not observed with MG132-induced stress and was not inhibited by JIP3 knockdown (Fig. S6D). In addition, ApoE3 did not stimulate cJun transcription, which, however, was induced by MG132 in a JIP3-dependent manner.
