In relation to the baseline period two separate peaks were differentiated within predefined latency windows (N1: 350–500 ms, P3: 700–900 ms; as the odors were perceived at the threshold level and with a low distinctiveness, it was refrained from dividing the P3 into different subcomponents [see 31]).
