2006; Molina et al., 2006; Poonia et al., 2006; Potula et al., 2006) and antiviral medication use (Hinkin, Castellon, Hardy, Granholm, & Siegle, 1999; Mohammed et al., 2004; Sharpe et al., 2004), the association between stimulant use and obesity can be more compellingly ascribed, in comparison to other studies, to the known pharmacological effects of stimulants on appetite and/or energy expenditure.
