Text

The human study included 91 subjects who were free of cardiovascular disease and in generally good health. The individuals were specifically recruited for this study [Phenotyping Lipid traits in iPS derived hepatocytes Study (PhLiPS Study)]. The University of Pennsylvania Human Subjects Research Institutional Review Board approved the study protocol, and all subjects gave written informed consent for study participation. The study was wholly performed at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Peripheral blood samples obtained from the subjects were used for blood lipid measurements as well as the generation of iPSC lines and genome-wide genotyping. See Table S1 for demographic data and blood lipid data.
