The ILM_2089616 probe with suggestive corroborating evidence was not available in the Stranger et al. 2012 data. Finding evidence of reduced expression of FBXO10 associated with the rs4878712-G allele from two datasets with probes near the 3’ end of the gene but not for a probe toward the 5’ end of the gene may reflect differences in quality of the expression signal from the different probes or the probes tagging different gene transcripts (S10 Fig.).
