As shown in Table 2, in the EA sample, exposure to parental divorce and higher PRSALC significantly increased the hazard of initiating regular alcohol use. In contrast, in the AA sample, only exposure to parental divorce, but not PRSALC, significantly increased the hazard of initiating regular alcohol use.
