Cluster‐based permutation test implemented in MNE‐Python was used to correct for multiple comparisons and detect statistical differences in PAC (Gramfort et al., 2013; Maris & Oostenveld, 2007). Statistical significance was set at p corrected < .01 were considered significant. Statistical differences in the preferred phase of PAC were calculated using the CircStat toolbox (Berens, 2009).
