In the AA female sample, loci were found on chromosome 2 (rs11690265, weight ranking 2), and two on chromosome 18 (rs167336, weight ranking 18), and (rs303754, weight ranking 18) and on chromosome 11 (rs34467936, weight ranking 11 ), and two on chromosome 16 (rs62057756, weight ranking 16), and (rs28709965, weight ranking 16). A locus was found for EA-AUD male sample on chromosome 19 gene FUT2 (rs692854, weight ranking 19), and for the AA-AUD male sample on chromosome 16 (rs13380649, weight ranking 16). Overall, females had more SNP features than males (#SNP (AA female) =8, (#SNP (AA male) =1) (#SNP (EA female) =5, (#SNP (EA male) =1) (Supplementary Tables 5–6).
