where α1 and α2 are, respectively, the RRs of genotypes 1 and 2 relative to genotype 0, and f is the frequency of allele 1 in the panel. We then sampled pairs of haplotypes (without replacement) uniformly from the panel such that they were consistent with the genotypes.
