To confirm potential Per3 downstream targets, we compared expression levels between wild type and homozygous Per3 KO mice. We found 2217 differentially expressed genes (P<0.05), seven of which (Cast, Trpm2, Anks1b, Gpr81, Hsbp1, Pdlim5 and 4930528J18Rik) are also among the 48 transcripts with trans QTLs near Per3.
