Given a source model and a head volume conductor model, the EEG/MEG can be linked with the brain electric sources by (1)x(t)=As(t)+b(t) where x(t) is the vector of EEG or MEG signals, s(t) is the source vector, A is the transfer matrix, and b(t) is the noise vector, respectively.
