Text

A recent open-label study gave NAC (1,200 mg) twice daily for 4 weeks to 24 cannabis-dependent males and females who were interested in reducing their cannabis use [71]. Treatment with NAC was well tolerated and associated with significant decreases in self-report measures of cannabis use and craving, but no change in semi-quantitative urine cannabinoid levels.
