At age 14, twins reported on their life events using a checklist that asked whether a series of 15 life events items (listed in Table 1) had occurred in the past two years. Each item was coded 0 (did not happen in past two years) and 1 (did happen in the past two years). Sum scores were used in analyses, and were available for all participants in the subsample.
