The term location on the x-axis is fixed, data sources are grouped together and colour-coded for faster and more intuitive interpretation of the results (Figure 2B). Terms from the same GO subtree are located close to each other. The fixed location highlights the term groups from a particular GO subcategory as these terms tend to be enriched together forming a peak in the Manhattan plot (Figure 2C). In addition, it enables to easily spot the differences in the enriched terms across several queries (Figure 2D).
