1 shows that the confidence intervals around percentages of children falling into each of the comorbid pathways overlap. Concurrent CD and ODD onset was the most common configuration. ODD→CD was slightly less common than the pathway where CD was diagnosed before ODD. Although the confidence intervals indicate this was not significantly different, there is certainly no evidence that ODD→CD was a particularly common pathway. ODD→CD appeared especially uncommon in girls, with only 3 following this pathway.
