months would improve model fit. We then ran a third model which included this path and dropped the non-significant paths from marital satisfaction at 12 months to warm/sensitive parenting at 24 months and from depression at 12 months to marital satisfaction at 24 months and warm/sensitive parenting at 24 and 36 months. This model resulted in an improvement in model fit: χ2difference (3)=12.10, p<.05, and fit the data adequately: χ2 (12)=19.00, p=.09, RMSEA=.06, CFI=.98, TLI=.95, SRMR=.03 (see Fig. 2).
