The gene expression array showed a ~3-fold reduction in the expression of cMaf (v-Maf), a leucine zipper-containing transcription factor (Table S1). cMaf, and its relative MafB, have been reported to be expressed in cortical interneurons (Cobos, 2006; Faux et al., 2009; Zhao et al., 2008).
