Post-hoc analyses separating lisdexamfetamine from other amphetamines highlighted some differences. In children, lisdexamfetamine was less well tolerated compared with placebo (OR 2·69, 95% CI 1·40–5·16), whereas tolerability of the other amphetamines was slightly better (1·83, 0·84–4·02); in adults, the opposite pattern emerged (vs placebo: lisdexamfetamine, 2·74, 0·80–9·30; other amphetamines, 3·66, 1·36–9·87).
