rapid mobilization of REDCap partner sites sharing methods for surveillance data collection in both academia and state governments, setting the stage for additional attention and adoption across U.S. state health departments, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and other government agencies. A large partnership has made it possible to gain attention and support to build integration and interoperability with other software platforms and cloud-based ecosystems [57]. Regional relevance (e.g., having many REDCap partners in a single country or geographic region) has prompted several of our international partners to organize and self-fund regional annual or biannual regional REDCap conferences [58,59].
