Study 2. Plasma 3H-2DG concentration and tissue 3H-activity were determined based on the production of 3H2O by completely oxidizing the 25 μL plasma samples and ~100 mg tissue pieces using a Packard System 387 Automated Sample Preparation Unit (Packard Instrument Co. Inc., Meriden, CT).
