Another example would be a midline closed-field generator as described for a novelty vertex source (Tenke et al., 2010), where bilateral dipole orientations yield local field cancellations. The point is that CSD does not provide a single dipole measure, nor does it require one. For its quantification, we are adopting a pragmatic approach by analyzing CSD activity at regions or sites associated with distinct sinks or sources.
