We also examined whether the G × E effect identified using the global measure of parent–child conflict persisted to maternal–child and paternal–child conflict, as well as individual informant reports of parent–child conflict. To do so, we re-ran our G × E analyses separately for maternal and child reports of maternal–child conflict, and for paternal and child reports of paternal–child conflict.
