The overall de novo rate in the OCD trio sample was 1.44% for large CNVs (> 500kb), which is intermediate between estimates in healthy controls (0.7%)27 and estimates in ASD (1.8% multiplex, 3.9% simplex)27 and schizophrenia (2–3%).35–37 Additional studies with larger samples and more sensitive CNV calling will be needed to refine this estimate.
