1999–2002, the mean age was 48.46 years (SD=0.77); the average education level was between some college and a college degree; the average occupational attainment was middle-class status (the average occupational prestige code using Stevens and Hoisington’s, 1987, prestige scores reflected jobs such as sales, bookkeepers, and secretaries); 69% of the original participants were living with their spouses. The average verbal achievement score on the WRAT was 99.15 (SD=13.72).
