Text

The Self-Concealment Scale (SCS) measures one’s tendency to conceal personal information that is distressing or negative (Larson and Chastain, 1990). Each question is answered on a Likert scale from strongly agree (1) to strongly disagree (5). The scale can yield a total possible score from 10 to 50; greater values indicate greater self-concealment.
