In summary, we report replication of previous findings of an effect of the interaction between MAOA uVNTR genotype and environmental risk on behavioral outcomes. These results were found using prospective reports of behavior across multiple reporters in a community sample. We extend the current understanding of this effect by demonstrating that an individual’s genotype interacts with the environment across a continuous measure of physical discipline to influence levels of delinquent behavior.
