Consequently, the marginal GWAS signals of ADHD and MDD were too weak to allow GPA to detect the pleiotropic effect between them. Since the data analysis performed in [12] used genotype data, the bivariate LMM could still have enough power to detect a moderate genetical correlation between ADHD and MDD.
