Text

Additional data files containing the following supplementary data, tables and figures are available with the online version of this paper and from the GENOA genome annotation website [71]. The lists of GenBank accession numbers of human cDNAs and ESTs that were mapped to the human genome by the GENOA pipeline, GENOA gene locus identifiers, and gene loci with spliced alignments for the 22 human autosomes and two sex chromosomes are provided at our website [76]. Sets of constitutive and alternative exons in genes expressed in the human brain, testis and liver, and control sets used are also provided [77]. Additional data file 1 lists the average and median number of ESTs per gene and tissue, and the total number of genes per tissue using different minimum numbers of ESTs. Additional data file 2 lists the average total number of AS genes and AS genes containing SEs, A3Es and A5Es using ESTs derived from normal, non-diseased tissues. Additional data file 3 lists the number of constitutively spliced and AS genes, and AS genes containing SEs, A3Es and A5Es. Additional data file
