Besides the evaluation of the statistical power of GPA on real data, we examined whether the Beta distribution of the GPA model fit the real data. We compared the p-values of real data and the p-values simulated from the fitted GPA model to examine the goodness of fit. The results are given in Figures S88–S97 in Text S1, suggesting that our GPA model fitted the real data well.
