with 1 DUI reported more alcohol-related seizures than men. Each of the gender differences was due to a greater divergence of women with DUIs from women with none, compared to men. Only one item, drinking to relieve seizures, failed to differentiate individuals with 2 or 3+ DUIs from those with 1. Several items (e.g., work problems, tolerance) differentiated men with 2 or 3+ DUIs from men with 1 only but did not differentiate similar women, although a pattern of greater endorsement among women with multiple DUIs was apparent.
