The nonhuman primate subjects in our experiments were two adult (ages 16 and 9) rhesus macaques (Macaca mulatta), one male and one female. All procedures followed the guidelines of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Committee on Animal Care and the National Institutes of Health.
