Text

As Figures 1 - 4 illustrate, besides showing marked elevations in disorders most distinct to their class, individuals in the fear, distress, and externalizing classes also showed elevated prevalence of certain other disorders. In particular, across the two participant samples, depression, PTSD, and social phobia occurred in all three of these classes at high rates (> 10% probability, in all cases). Notably, marked elevations in prevalence rates for all disorders were evident in the highly multimorbid class, with the prevalence of some disorders (panic disorder and PTSD, in particular) higher in this class than in any other class across both samples.
