Analytes were quantified using MassHunter Workstation LC/QQQ Acquisition and MassHunter Workstation Quantitative Analysis (Agilent Technologies, Santa Clara, CA, USA). Levels of anandamide and 2-arachidonylglycerol in each brain region were determined against standard curves and expressed as fmol/mg or pmol/mg of protein. The effect of drug treatment and extinction training (CS–US vs CS) was statistically analyzed using ANOVA.
