To assess the performance of various kinship coefficients based on limited pedigree information, ϕped, and ϕest were compared with ϕact in Scenario III. The genealogy of only the last three generations was used for the computation of ϕped and ϕpost to mimic a typical situation in which more distant relationships are not known.
