NMDA response (p=0.77, Figure 3D). In contrast to results for NMDA receptors, no significant changes were observed following acute 50 mM alcohol exposure for GABAA (n=4, p=0.27, data not shown) or AMPA receptors (n=5, p=0.19, data not shown). As we did not observe significant changes in responses of these receptors to acute alcohol exposure, we did not examine the effect of a 7-day chronic alcohol treatment on GABAA or AMPA responses to acute alcohol.
