Alcohol craving and anxiety were assessed using a 10-point visual analog scale in which 1 was anchored at “not at all” and 10 at “extremely high.” Subjects rated their desire for an alcoholic drink and how anxious, tense, and/or jittery they felt in that moment. All subjective rating scales were administered at baseline (-5), immediately following imagery (time 0), and at 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, and 75 minutes after imagery.
