We assessed sex-specific differences in association between ADHD and the following categories of developmental disorders/syndromes: ID, ASD, developmental coordination disorder, epilepsy, congenital malformations, and chromosomal abnormalities (see Supplemental Table S3 for details, including International Classification of Diseases codes). Generalized estimating equations were used to test for the effect of an ADHD-by-sex interaction term on each outcome, while accounting for related samples.
