Figure 2 demonstrates how latent variables were created and shows significant relationships in the measurement model. The indices indicated good fit: CFI=.98, NNFI=.97, RMSEA=.058 (.050–.066), and Standardized RMR=.033. The three indicators for PEER loaded on the latent variable at .79 to .91; EXPECT indicators loaded at .86 to .93; for COPE, the three parcels loaded at .72 to .79; and parcels for ALC PROBS loaded at .72 to .78. Within the measurement model all four latent variables (PEER, EXPECT, COPE, and ALC PROBS) correlated positively with each other.
