224 male patients with MA addiction were recruited into the case group with a mean (sd) age of 30.7 (6.0), and 109 healthy men were enrolled into the control group with a mean (sd) age of 30.0 (5.7). There were no significant differences in age between the two groups (t=-7.9, p=0.43). Married or cohabitating adults accounted for 47.32% in the case group and 55.05% in the control group, and no significant differences in marital status between the two groups were found. The circumstances of substance use for 224 MA addicts is shown in Table 1.
