In Experiment 3 (the injection experiment), mice were housed 5 to a cage and each cage was treated as a separate group. In Experiment 4, the effect, if any, of D-Lys3-GHRP-6 on blood ethanol concentrations was assessed after systemic ethanol administration. All mice had ad libitum access to rodent chow during the experiment and water was available unless otherwise noted. All experimental procedures were approved by the OHSU Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and complied with NIH ethical guidelines for the treatment of laboratory animals.
