Another very useful approach to capturing ongoing discrimination is the dairy approach of Brondolo and her colleagues (Brondolo et al. 2005, 2008a, b; Broudy et al. 2007). However, there is a need for greater awareness that measures like the Everyday Discrimination Scale capture an important, but limited aspect of the phenomenon of self-reported discrimination.
